Optinuity Gets $6 Million Series B Investment

BETHESDA, MD -- IT automation company Optinuity, Inc. announced the close of its second round of venture capital funding, receiving $6 million in new investment.

Optinuity develops software that automates IT processes in data center environments.  The company's target customers are telecommunication, financial service and healthcare organizations.

Edison Ventures led the round, which included series A investors New Enterprise Associates, Venrock Associates and Mid-Atlantic Venture Funds.
